I tutor at several schools of higher learning as well as elementary schools in the Raleigh area and have also taught the verbal section of the SAT to high school students, so I work easily with younger students from ages 5 or 6 to college age and older adults, including second language learners.

My background includes 14 years of tutoring to diverse graduate and undergraduate students at multiple universities in South Florida, where I also taught freshman composition for 7 years. I edit graduate papers, theses, dissertations, and book chapters. I have also edited a book, which I am hoping will be a best seller soon, and provided freelance proofreading for a psychology manual and text.

I am also a Certified MBTI® (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Practitioner, so if you wish to learn your personality type to gain self-knowledge about your learning style, how you process information, how you make decisions, and how you communicate, we can examine that as well.
